Are you sitting comfortably?
 Are your things set for the morning
 Are the kids asleep and snoring
 Is the mess that you're ignoring shoved away in some old hole
 And have you sorted out the heating
 Typed your notes out for your meeting
 Can you see your loved ones eating
 While they're scrolling through their phones
 And the days and the weeks may pass us by
 As we fill up every moment till we die
 But even when we know we've finished all the jobs we've got
 There will always be something we've forgot
 Are you sitting comfortably?
 Are the pots stacked into towers
 Did you send your Mam some flowers
 Have you totalled up the hours you've got left free in the day
 Is there some left for your marriage
 Drop the car off in the garage
 Write the jobs that you can't manage on a list & walk away
 And the days and the weeks may pass us by
 As we fill up every moment till you die
