Someone cut the leashes

 They oversee the body heaps
 No winners - No more
 And they bring us one last war
 Fingers are pointed
 Sabres are rattled
 Well-meaning slaves
 Are sent into battle
 Meat for the grinder
 Fuel for the fire
 Caskets for the pawns
 And votes for the liars
 Now it's glasses in the air
 And cheers all around
