something lost
 on the way to here
 not sure what it was
 call it my affinity
 something vital,
 real and true
 sometimes I see it
 through the leaves
 when the wind blows
 and colours bleed
 with sun and rain
 the memory returns
 a fleeting moment
 a feeling of home
 then its gone again
 something divine
 concealed from view
 then lost again
 for another day
 just a moment
 a frozen moment
 living
 in black and white
 dreaming in grey
 how did it come to this
 I can't feel it anymore, can't feel it anymore
 like someone flicked a switch inside
 now I can't see
 what I need to be
 dreaming
 in black and white
 and living in grey

 how did I become this way?
