Circle Pity

wet nursing a wet dream date
 rotting out next to fig.

 revealing, numbered are the days
 another piece of the pink pi plate emptied into this sextet of regret infected sores
 intriguing how this ever came to be scabbed with scorn
 i never should have been in a surgical state
 paving wounds and sores
 with steps i try to take
 around the circle of pity
 infinity figure eights tearing the flesh off of the heart
 strings pulling confidence apart
 another part of the shattered pane
 window into this strange manifestation of our core
 intriguing how this ever came to be scabbed with scorn
 i never should have been in a surgical state

 leads me to a place
 where i can only hope that time was imaginary
