two christmases

December again
 Another whiskey bottle
 Falls into my hand
 Maybe it's a problem
 But I just can't face all the feelings
 That come with the snow
 God was a baby
 And so was I
 At least He had a dad
 That didn't cheat on His wife
 And pass me around every weekend
 But I didn't know
 That every year
 The only cheer
 Was one two hour drive
 So torn between
 Each half of me
 Now I think I know why
 No one needs two Christmases, right
 Double the gifts
 Just gave me depression
 When all that I needed
 Was you to be present
 So, this is me breaking the ice
