So I'd been kickin it with this girl for a minute
 She said she wants to talk, I said, "Girl, you know I'm with it"
 She looked me in the eye and said, "I think we're soulmates
 I think we were meant to be- we shouldn't hesitate"
 I thought for a second, I said, "What do you mean?"
 She said, "Come on baby, you know, let's put on a ring"
 I said, "Damn. That's not what I expected, and not really a scenario I'm down to mess with"
 Can we talk about it later?

 So I got right up and headed straight for the door
 Every word she was sayin' I was trying to ignore
 Picked up the pace and got there fast as I could
 Then she started yellin' looney things, I thought, "This can't be good"
 So that's when things got a little crazy
 I try to forget so my memory might be kinda hazy
 She was grabbing at me, yeah she was jabbing at me
 Then she turned to get a knife to start stabbing at me
 I felt defenseless, and she was relentless
 I couldn't believe it was happening, her actions were senseless
 She took another step, I took a deep breath, and said, "You're crazy, bitch!"

 And truth is, I didn't even really want to date her
 It's not like she wasn't fine
 It's just all the back and forth that goes on in my mind
 See, sometimes I feel like I don't know what I'm doin'
 Taking shots in the dark, think I probably just blew it
 It's like my heads filled with self doubt
 I can't seem to shake it, can't seem to get it out
 Now there are parts of me you don't see, you won't see
 That's why I sit quietly and watch my thoughts silently and mindfully
 To look inside my head and see what makes my conscious
 Try to realize the patterns and disrupt the process
 And now I'm practicing a little more honesty
 And honestly that side sometimes still comes out of me
 Can't get a hold of it, feel like I can't control it
