Unfurling the Crescent Moon

Slowly creeping down
 Forming clouds to breathe in the spell
 Midnight, fixated on sinking brine
 Freezing, the depths of withered worlds
 Shifting through shells
 Made to sicken, this ever shifting clay
 Seeps from under those reptilian minds
 Meant to weaken, the fire glows
 Ascending, blazing a path to all that's gone
 Eyes glow with vengeance
 Those coming for another realm
 Enrapture and breathe in the cold
 Drift in the lie
 Close remaining blinds
 Still we're spellbound
 Within the minds of the perpetual gods
 High and keep the mortal choking from afar
 I take the crushing weight
 The stream is pushing me down
 And break the crescent moon into a luminous trance
 Stake this out and you'll all find the crown
 Submerged in the deep, it will never be found
