We, the Indifferent

the eyes of the world are too blind to see
 eager to judge, we condemn the world around 'me'
 we are the true cult of indifference
 vacant stares into emptiness
 deprived of thougth and cause
 for I believe hell is real, hell is other people
 and so if ignorance is bliss
 is indifference a virtue?
 in this most prominent absence
 under grey indifferent skies
 once you're freed of all inherence
 you'll become a part os the demise
 nothing but an unmarked grave
 an empty casket left for you to rot
 through their eyes
 suffused, injured by neglect
 bloated and idle - irrelevant
 not a sign of life to detect,, or defect
 we, the indifferent
 and if ignorance is truly bliss
 then let neglect be your shrine
 the eyes of the world are too blind to see
 how we consume and destroy the world around us
 we are the true cult of indifference
 we, the indifferent of the world
 in order to establish injustice and poverty
 ordain and maitain, the callousness of our nature
 may the light of your significance
 refract the judgement to which you're inclined
 the higher the conviction
 the deeper the contradiction
