See I know you've got your plans
 About your life and how to live it
 You want two different things
 But it's getting hard to pivot
 A steady life but such a bore
 Or take a risk for something more
 What kind of life would you like to be livin'?
 You know I've got my plans
 But they're getting risky
 Gone for months and months

 That's when I need you the most
 At the end of the day I just need to have you with me
 Sometimes life gets hard

 Our plans keep on changin'
 As we're growing older
 I try so very hard
 To keep to all the things I told her
