Well I'm seeing what is there
 beneath your skin
 that is so bare
 beautiful/light and love beyond compare
 but the walls are built like steel
 and the cut it doesn't heal,
 the path it gets as slippery as an eel.

 how we ever got into this mess today
 and the choices that I made
 and the things I had to trade
 will it matter when my flesh it turns to clay
 will it matter when my bones are in the ground,
 my Toyota - it is nowhere to be found
 and the rabbit never overruns the hound
 and the morning comes
