Fly A Kite

When we grew up together
 Our foolish minds enjoyed the simple things
 Thought it would last forever
 That we would keep our wild imaginings
 But now that we are older
 I must admit that I still miss those days
 The world is getting colder
 From the moment we went separate ways
 So long ago
 But there's no turning back now
 As we become less free
 If only we never lost that innocence
 How sweet our lives would be
 Can't we just fly a kite
 Like in those good old times?
 Can't we just go alongside with the wind today?
 We stay up late at night
 Forget our troubled lives
 And we keep going on like nothing's ever changed
 I know we had a good run
 I know we're blessed with our perfect lives
 We played our games in the sun
 Still unaware 'cause we were only five
 But life is complicated
 I'm growing old and I still miss those days
