Big Small Town

We could ride our bikes forever just the tires and the road together
 The wind in our hair man the freedom
 No helmets nah we didn't need 'em
 We'd hit up the country store, the one that ain't there no more
 Be home when the streetlights came on
 Yeah those kind of days they are gone
 Cause there's a parking lot where paradise was
 They're building condos and driving the prices up
 It used to be washed up Silverados, now it's all Range Rovers and Tahoes
 Used to be a country mile now it's miles of houses going up and down
 It used to feel safe to wander 'round, you could go to sleep and not hear a sound
 Except the peace and quiet that you chased and found
 Things change, it feels strange I guess that's life now
 Living in a big small town
 Ain't nothing wrong with things progressing, yeah I should probably accept it
 Cause they'll all just move on without me
 But I'll always miss how it used to be

 I miss my small town
