Train Ride

Vividly it comes to me that train ride in late june
 cutting through, so ruggedly the silent hills in bloom
 Oh
 Mountains cut that canopy
 that canopy of blue
 I've finally let my heart breath
 and think a bit of you
 Blazing sky in all it's glory
 the stars fill it with light
 the star you wished on fell to earth
 and set my heart on fire

 Face pressed against the window glass
 I watched the terrain change
 vibrant shades they came and pass
 that river writhed in pain
 such beauty I've never seen
 but it's been here all this time
 insted of seeing shades of grey
 I've seen the bright sun shining
