Nothing happens in my life he said
 Laying one night in his bed
 He'd had enough of the jobcentres
 Like he'd had enough of his city and guilds
 And his mother she cried
 and he asked her why

 Now little Mickey's gonna run away

 He's lived all his life in this northern town

 but since he went there now he ain't so sure
