When I look at my strange behavior
 Well I think I understand
 Why those broken bones
 Led me to an evil ghost
 I followed it to any hole,
 It said, "Look at me,
 I'm nothing but a shadow
 What you thought was fear -
 Well it was hollow,

 You've been chasing shadows."
 And then I woke up,
 WAKE UP!

 I still don't get all my strange behavior
 Can't believe what I thought
 Would save me
 Pretty girl
 I followed her around the world
 And when I caught her she said to me
 "Look at love,
 It's nothing but a shadow
 Where you saw a heart -
 That was hollow
 Look at you,
 You've been chasing shadows."
 And then I woke up.
