Of Lore

(An ancient power lost to the past)
 (The steel was forged and a spell was cast)
 Journeys across land and sea
 To find the scripts of destiny
 A work of ages hidden away
 Through forest, mountain, ocean and cave

 Songs speak of its place of rest
 Kept inside a rotting chest
 To find this tome would seal thine fate
 For storms do grow and the hour is late
 ♪
 (The ancient codex is the key)
 (Pages blaze with sorcery)
 Of lore in ancient moldered tomes
 
 Black speech written by three old crones
 ♪
 Bound in flesh and bone
 Written in blood and stone
 Tales of past and magick
 Spells to hide what is shown
 ♪
 If the book is found
 By a hero so renowned
 Power of the earth and time
 Will be unleashed unto all kind
 ♪
 These forces are beyond war
 Beyond man and beast
 Beyond lore
 Our only choice is to accept our end
 And pray we suffer the least
