 The stream of life
 Brings us the hope and faith
 Carries all of our sorrows away
 At night the river so sincere
 The moonlight reflects from its surface
 So blank and so calm
 Silence is here waiting for
 The silver hordes from the downstream
 We never gave up the hope

 The moonlight enlights their path
 The journey that ends at the estuary gates of vanity
 Where the lock is sealed by the steel and concrete
 Where the river banks cry out for emptiness
