 Another chance to wake up and truly make a difference
 Pushed by the hands of time along with persistence
 To break this mould that holds laziness in it
 So the snooze button is for those with excuses
 And who's fronting? Those who choose useless
 Attempts to get by with no work or sweat of the brow
 Just stuck in a rut not trying to get out
 Just a deep breath that's never refreshed
 And a pair of closed eyes when quiet is kept
 Cause we slept for too long on the road of opportunity
 To be the person that we can truly be

 Deep beneath the expectations that were once shown
 But blown by the fear to pace this race and run
 But for some life has never begun
 For only spun off the axis where dreams never stop
 And hope is held captive, shackled and locked
 Cause we're blind to the fact when opportunity knocks
 And the eyes never hear it and ears never see it
 So most are deceived and never believe it
 That's why we spend time in a search while our blessings get cheated
