The weatherman says that there's rainclouds overhead
 So I'm praying for good weather cos the careful get the best
 And when it rains then once again you said

 I was so surprised you telephoned it was so unexpected
 Perhaps she loves me after all well if she does I stand corrected
 But the careful get there last and then it rains she said

 Well I woke up Sunday morning and I couldn't believe my eyes
 I took one look out of the window I said, 'wow what a beautiful sunrise'
 So I had a bath and I walked the dog
 I said 'thankyou God' and and he said 'anytime'

 She said she'd come round at 5 o'clock she came at 2 instead
 And I thought she would walk out the door but she turned to me and said
 Next week, same place, same time?
