Iced Tea and Selfies

You been left for vacay and I'm at home
 I'm bored to the teeth so I'm on my phone
 It seems that everybody's gone to the shore today
 But I can't get away yet to join you or they
 I got so much work I have to do this week
 Occupational hazards of being a geek
 When the muse calls I gotta listen it's a given
 But I'm missing you sitting next to me and I'm wishing
 If I could see your face just for a bit
 It could be the remedy for these blues gimme bliss
 I'm sure this would be a great temporary fix
 A look in your eyes would give my spirits a lift
 You musta been reading my mind again
 To tell the truth I really don't mind it when
 That happens cuz it means that we're on the same wave
 Ooh nice one I'll be sure to hit save
 I gotta bowl of blackberries and a jasmine brew
 There's one thing missing I ain't got you
 Spending summer on the porch swing doing that torch thing
 I know it's temporary but I'm so blue
 I gotta need for more sugar for my jasmine tea

 Can't tell if it's the weather or imagination
