On The Pier

Mournful day
 The day when you sailed away
 To the accompaniment of the rain.
 All that day
 I stood on the pier
 Looking into the distance once again.
 When the ship
 Dissolved in the fog
 I had to recognized i was alone
 All that day

 Catching tears of angels crying.
 From night to night i fell into a reverie
 - hiding from reality dreaming her life away.
 From day to day oblivion relieves my misery
 - wishing to make up for lost time, to bring him back again.
 Late at night i had a dream
 It soothed my pain and looked so real.
 I dreamed that you were here.
 Heartened me
 Till the dawn you stayed beside
 Looked at me, smiled tenderly
 Disappeared with touch of light
 Suddenly
 I don't know what's happining with me.
 I live the dream easing my pain.
 I cannot change sober reality
 I live the hope we'll meet again.
 Insanity's still beyond the sight.
 But i can feel it will be here tonight.
 I know i am a mere shadow of my former self.
 I wish to be a master of my delicate health.
 I ran through the night from my nightmares
 Ran to the docks seeking shelter.
 With what is left of my feeble strength.
 I saw your ship in the haven
 Saw a lonly man standing on the pier
 He turned his face on me, familiar face
