It all started about 20 past 4 in the afternoon
 The sun was high in the sky and so was I
 I had my speakers on and Toots was telling me that it is you
 I invite my friends round to have a drink
 And before too long we were dancing

 With a can in each hand we went out into the night

 It seems like a good a reasons as any do go and do some shots
 But all we really wanted to do was to smoke some pot
 So we made our way through the beer garden
 Through the haze of conversation and tobacco smoke
 To find ourselves underneath the tree
 To smoke a little Sensi-Mi
 And now onto the dancefloor looking for much much more

 Now it reaches that point in the night
 Where it ain't no longer a point in the night
 People have started dropping off like flies
 The only ones left, they got too high, hey
 So we walk out of the bar shielding our eyes
 And avoiding the gaze of those who have started their day
 We make our way far too tired to talk
 So we spark up a joint to ease the thought of having to sleep
 These moments get lost cos our memory's been a blur
 Like a sense and feeling it will go on forever
 These nights are not rare and that is not why we care
 We are who we are and that is more than enough
