I Believe He's Alive

In spite of the pain and the shame of the cross,
 the agony suffered the life Jesus
 lost, I believe, I believe He's alive.
 In spite of the nails in His hands and his feet,
 the blood that was poured out on
 Calvary, I believe, I believe Hes alive.

 The empty tomb shouts it through all
 history, Our Savior has risen and is living indeed.
 but that's not the proof i need to know that He left the grave
 behind, when i see how He changed
 this life of mine I believe He's alive.
 In spite of the spear that was thrust in His side,
 In spite of the witnesses watching
 Him die, I believe, I believe He's alive.
 In spite of the stone that was rolled into place the soldiers,
 Pilot, left guarding His grave, I believe, I believe He's alive.
