Slow down
 This road that you're headed
 I've seen it all time and again
 Surprise jumps from behind every corner
 So stop before you get roped in

 A fall from grace at the speed of a plane

 Because if you decide that you feel good inside

 And you know I can't have it that way
 So wise up
 Come to your senses
 There's only one way this can end
 You can't be seeing things clearly
 Or else you'd be covering your skin
 It's the strong combination
 Of fear and elation
 That makes you not able to think
 So get on the right side and
 Forget about the bright side
 There's only so much you can take
 All of the signs are out
 They're plastered outside of your house
 In the hopes that you'll want to see
