Whether the sun shines bright on us
 or whether torrid rains should fall,
 we will fly this bloody banner;
 we will heed its rallying call:

 What would you sacrifice?
 How strong would you stand
 to face what lies ahead?
 To answer this demand?
 We'll tip our spears with broken bones,
 sew skins into the sails.
 Our bodies burn from cannon blasts.
