Wonders

planes are penetrating a cryptic night
 
 and the moon's light is shining bright
 the tremble of the ground fiercely emits
 the roars of forced fate and faint wit
 the soil smells like abandoned ash
 a secret hidden in the rich man's cache
 ♪
 the sky is dressed in combat fashion
 its aura forged by ember's passion
 ♪
 the night is bringing end to life
 and making morning devil's wife
 and now counterfeit wonders of stolen time
 are graciously escorted by the hand of crime
 surely there is an end to this senseless story
 because there is never a champion in grisly glory
 ♪
 still, there is optimism approaching forever
 in the peace that our trusting children endeavor
 and so we allow our missiles to soar
 at the expense of the vulnerable and the poor
 our hearts are shadowed by fear
 yet through the barrel of a gun
 hope to deliver democracy
 our hearts are shadowed by fear
 all 'good' here is insincere
 and we are left bearing
 the guilt for everything
