 cynical thunder for the swagger and scum
 creatures of habit and germeralists (?)
 temple hat fairies just out of our grip (?)
 we're gunna muddy the water
 with a dose of the fear
 praying to someone who just isn't here
 we can't be sure so we'll beg for some more
 a tonic to rub on our brains

 so keep it closer

 apocalyptic aggression from the man down the hall
 with determined ambition to make you feel small
 a shifty sinister circus that self destructs
 (forgot test planet) that makes it's own luck
 a few seconds of burning you make no mistake
 and through a reflex action you've taken the bait
 I can't be sure so we'll beg for some more
 a tonic to rub on our brains
