A May Carol

As the first motion of summer stares
 Descending showers bring forth full greens
 The soft season calls the rising
 flowers to dance and flutter in the breeze
 At the dawning of the day, as April turns to May
 The crackling heat lights up the
 night and we dance around it in disguise
 Our fears and despairs are cast into the flames
 The fiends fly in surprise
