forty fathoms forward now / with swords shining bright
 thirty thousand able men now / with hopes in their minds
 rumbling gallops marching forward / eyes sparkling in the dark
 trying to cast away the foreigners / in castles, on their mark
 "Charge!" said the leader / form a ferocious crusher
 and the crowd blew the horn / spirit elated so high
 "Destroy" screamed the soldiers
 clinked the swords to form a thousand sparks
 breathe the fire / flaming arrows through the sky
 forming a parabola / piercing their ratinula
 gushing the blood out / beneath the carambola
 leader smoking the panetela
 they, forever relentless / fought for our land
 amidst all the blood they sacrificed
 rise from the ashes / now is the time
 now is the time forgotten martyrs
