A bookmark in the dark
 You always fell asleep too soon
 So tidy, beside me
 You used to neaten up my room
 Heres where i got up to heres where you stopped
 Two old chairs, an odd pair
 You never could sit down for long
 A phone call, that was all
 Its awefully quiet now youre gone
 Dont forget me
 So for long, the blinds drawn
 I didn't get a warning shot
 Heartless so??? As if id never joined the dots
 Heres what you got up to
 Heres where we stopped
 I was such a soft touch
 You sold your problems with a pout
 Ill never forget you or let you back inside my house
 You misread me
 There are some books you know you wont read but you keep on the shelf
 Just in case you might need them there
 Are some books you're happy to give away
