Troubled Times

I made the call into my brain
 to clear the last generation,
 the useless and the damaged thoughts
 Don't swim around me with your
 useless criticisim / try to rate me
 and put me in my proper place
 I've heard the words you've tried to preach
 the ones you use now to berate me
 and push me down unpleasant holes
 And in uncertain times I find it's you
 who shrink and never face me.
 Go wallow in your useless souls.
 And now now the lights on you
 the one's who wanna push the world towards a war
 The bombs that fly toward you
 forgiven / unforgiven it's the world you want
 Why lend a heart towards you?
 You'd stab us in the back
 and then you'd burn the world!
 Now in our sadness and our troubled times
 it's you that would hate me.
 I'll never understand your crimes.
 Destroy the masses / how would that affect your plight,
 intimidate me?
 You burn in your unrightous fire!
 A holy war, an oxymoron meant to startle or to shake me.
 But holy don't become a liar.
 You egg us on to spill your blood & once we're done
 will god forsake me
 and sink us all in troubles times?
