A Wonderful Change

Once I was lost I was living in sin
 My life was hopeless no peace within
 I was alone, down, hardened and sad
 Needed a change in my heart
 I bowed a knee shed a tear and a sigh
 Lifted my eyes to the man in the sky
 Now I'll sing and shout the goo news
 He's made a wonderful change
 There's been a wonderful change in my soul
 Since Jesus came I'm as built as snow
 Now I'm glad to say I am on my way, oh
 He changed my heart changed my soul and my life
 Saved me from trouble from sin and it's strife
 Now I'll sing I'll shout the good news

 When I shall come to the end of the way
 I will rest at close of the day
 I'll wear a robe and a bright shinning crown
 In that land so fair
 And then I'll lay down my cares through some wonders and strife
 Tell my worries and troubles goodbye
