 Reading comics from the rack at Denny's drug store
 And I wanted me some gum
 Had a quarter in my pocket needed one more
 Don't know what got into me
 When I tucked a pack of Wrigley's in the pocket of my jeans
 Felt a tap on my shoulder and an old man said to me

 My second cousin brought a six pack
 Though I knew it wasn't right I didn't say no
 Came home after midnight
 Snuck up to my room and I just got into my bed
 An empty bottle in his hand Daddy woke me up and said
