Wherever I Wake Up

Well I hope this is real
 cuz if ive been dreaming
 then wen I wake from my rest
 all my friends will be ghosts
 all my loves will be shadows
 my own mind exploring itself
 And that just seems so sad, deceitful, and wanting
 this whole life, ive just been alone
 oh but I can complain
 I've seen some beauty
 wherever I wake up
 I'll call my home
 And I know that its tried
 to sing about dreaming
 but I do it myself
 when I dream
 When I wake up,
 I sometimes remember
 the things that I sing in my sleep
 And so I stay prepared
 with a pencil and paper
 and wherever I wake up,

 But hho am I to say
 whats been imagined
 if I cant understand my own mind
 even if its all been a smoke screen or a pageant
 I still like te way that its alive
 And the truth dont mean much
 if its been a good story
 of shame, glory, and the bones
 maybe all that we are
 is all we remember
