Heaven's Irony

On a hill outside Jerusalem
 Soldiers led Him there to die for them
 As they nailed the hands that created men
 He prayed that they would be forgiven
 A lowly carpenter from Galilee
 Loved the wealth that's found in poverty
 Heaven's power clothed in humility
 Let the cross become His destiny
 Through His stripes, I am healed
