The Circle

From the east, a new sunrise
 Spiritualize, eagle eyes, golden skies, realize
 Enlighten & shine, see far above the pack
 Horizon is the destiny, no sense in looking back
 Turn your eyes attention to the south
 At the bottom of the wheel, it's a green mouse
 Too timid & small, for you, you say
 Yet like a child his innocence will cut through your charade
 Your charade!
 And to the west you travel on the wheel
 Fiery sunset, and nightfall makes you feel like
 Questioning, and searching from within
 Well, black is the animal of introspection
 Finally you reach the north
 Only after time & energy put forth
 White buffalo gaze, far into the eyes
 To live within a circle on a path of being wise
 Wise up!
