Pain Within

Feelings trapped deep inside
 Eating you up but no way out
 If life was simple as a dream I'd awaken without this pain within
 As I look at who I am
 I recall what I had been
 As my life goes way down
 My body my soul
 Overcome
 As I scream and reach out
 Can't be heard or pulled out
 I walk and I walk
 No destination sought
 Out of body encircling me
 Echoes of screams trapped within your mind
 Begging, living, breathing dead
 Alone we stand
 No one by our side
 Pain of sadness seen
 Life, what used to be
 Nothing but a fantasy
 As I try to look into the world
 As I stand behind glass made walls
 All around me laughs and stares
 I wish they knew the pain I possess
 They think it is simple
 But it is not
 The pain
 Keeps building up
 The pain
