Where do the old moonshiners go when they die?
 And what of their stills in the pine?
 Is their kettle still burning hot?
 Or has that still run dry?
 Papa was a whiskey man and his before him

 Lord knows I miss them but I know I'm not alone
 When I look up to the night sky
