I am not a rock
 I am a wounded pigeon
 Stuck on the ground
 Unable to fly
 Still I've got a lot
 I should be grateful for living
 But I ruminate on what I'm missing
 In the sky
 Keep looking back for where you lost your step

 Up ahead through the woods, there lies an opening
 Nothing's gonna heal if you keep checking for blood
 Just leave it under the bandage, let the damage be done
 There are days,
 I get lost in the little
 Things that I can't seem to let go
 I found the only way
 To make it through the middle
 Of a storm, you just never take your eyes off the road
