People ask me why I wear my makeup so dark?
 Maybe I'm trying to cover up each and every little scar
 Or maybe I don't want the world to see
 See me, feel so uncomfortable, completely naked for everyone to see

 You know they used to point in magazines to those perfect little prom queens telling me I should look that way, dress that way, be like them - I'll never be that kind of girl.
 And there are plenty of others like me going to each and every extreme just to be as flawless as those celebrities you see on the tv
 Well I've been down that road before and it only leads to pain so I'd rather feel damn unpretty and not live in vain!
