Burning Sky

As the dark sun rises
 No spirits are left to dwell
 No men are left to weep
 This path is my own
 When my screams pierce the sound of a dead sky (and shores afar)
 Honor can't be taken from me, my finals days have yet to come
 In this blackened wasteland, no trees sing to me
 Only crimson stars are left to light my path
 Treading on this hallowed ground, with sorrow bearing down
 A certain end is near but still I carry on
 Standing before the horizon
 Beneath a burning sky
 Where my heart guides me north
 To the edge of the world
 Forests torn asunder, Fjords drowned in grief
 I wander the scorched plains of this land
 to the breaches of the unknown
 Forever bound to death
 In the land where nothing lives
 Standing before the horizon
 Over valleys of snow
 Where the whispers of wind
 Carve my fate in stone
