Through the Dark

Dreams lie in ruin under mountains so grim
 Oaken thrones set ablaze, golden crowns rusted grey
 Swept away into dark lands, under a weeping sky
 Scents and sounds I once knew frozen in embers so cold
 We stand beside our journey
 Embracing the havoc we will face
 The storms of darkness lie in wait
 Gazing down into abysmal depths
 Nothing to be heard but the wail of wind
 Through the broken stone we fray
 Drenched in fear, we're guided by the flame inside

 These walls around us stained with red like the setting sun
 We stand with courage and defy our odds
 No tales will be told in mourning on this day
 Only to be sung with triumph and supremacy
