The Naked Time

They say a vulcan never cries,
 So why can I feel these tears start forming?
 Sadness and anger, telling lies
 Emotions for me are more than disturbing
 I know, I know, I know
 This blood inside is still half human,
 but I shouldn't be susceptible to this aching heart or the way it's assuming control
 Must hide the tears behind my eyes,
 Walk in a room and clutch the table
 Sit in a chair and bow my head
 Hold on to myself the best I'm able
 I feel, I hurt, I love
 Can't happen to me. There is no logic
 Must keep it all inside of me
 I can't let it go

 Captain comes in, I'm out of sorts
 Just can't help it, I talk about mother
 He tries to snap me out of it
 A smack in the face, he gives me another
 I deck him in the mouth
 He goes sailing over a table
 He's mad and he's bleeding from the lip
 He screams in my face and says

 The ship's in trouble
 I've got to get back to my post
 There's an antidote being administered by Bones
 Engines imploding, ship saving action by a theory at most
 Time travel backward
