Tranquility

So much has happened
 Since I last fought
 Through a battle
 Now I'm just a shell
 Drifting in mist
 Without a purpose
 I swore
 I wouldn't back down
 But this peace
 So calm
 Leaves no place
 For me
 No reason to live
 Years and years
 We fought
 For our lives
 All I learnt
 Has become otiose
 Now only one more
 Battle undone
 Nothing like
 The previous ones
 Silently I walk in peace
 To my decease
 As in the waves by the shore
 My reflection dissolves
 The life in me slowly erodes away
 Till I am no more
 The immensity of an ocean
 Opens before me
 The unreachable horizon
 Tempts me with its peace
 I walk forwards
 Towards the beauty I see
 Till I can't breathe
