Plants

In the garden, flowers speak to me
 They turn slightly toward the sun they see
 Red and blue you are the shadow
 Why is Lara talking to a plant?
 In the forest, trees hear more than leaves.
 They talk to me with electric speech
 In a language, no one translates.
 Pretending it's not odd to whisper
 Acting normal, like no one hears her
 Wild, green ivy.
 Do you try to speak?

 People say it's easy to talk to
 Other humans creeping next to you
 But I never seem to get through
