You paint the picture like I was terrible from the start
 But fail to mention how you tore it all apart
 So while you're running from your feelings just like you do

 You were picking at all of my scars

 But then the room got dark

 We built the boundaries born to break the bonds between
 Barricading in out boundless bending symmetry
 A distance dancing around the line that we so swore to spare
 With no light leaking through that lingering devil's snare
 So when the vines took hold
 We were scrambling to be free
 All our lights turned to gold
 And we lost our imagery
 But then the room got dark
 I was stammering while you spoke
