Programmed to Die

In the end we all suffer the same fate
 Succumbing to age the cure is too late
 No way to prevent your dying date
 Degeneration starts with birth
 Living to die everything on earth
 Embedded in the genetic code
 Rapid decay can only be slowed
 Moving towards the end each and every day
 Through cellular death and radioactive decay
 The caps on our DNA eventually will rot away
 No cells are sparred broken strands go unrepaired
 Chromosome ravage from environmental damage
 All the years that go by everything is programmed to die
 Planets will disintegrate atmosphere will ablate
 Neutrons decay away the laws of nature they obey
 At the end in the dark it will repeat with a spark
