If I met myself back then I wonder what I'd say
 Would I tell that simple wise eyed girl the truth?
 If I met myself again, a child who'd lost her way
 Who was just about to pay the price of youth
 I'd tell her, "Only fools rush in and think the heart can lead"
 I'd tell her, "Grow a thicker skin 'cause girl you're gonna bleed"
 I'd tell her, "Blue skies turn to grey, the only questions when"
 I'd make her see, her future's me
