Thank You Lord

I always forget to say thank you,
 I seem to ask for more than I need.
 My prayers are full of wants and wishes,
 if I talk to you at all, it's all about me.
 But you have been so kind and giving
 and you've always been there when I pray,
 but there's been something I've been meaning to tell you,
 there's something I need to say.
 Thank you lord for your love,
 thank you for the grace you've shown to me.
 Thank you lord for the blessings I receive every day
 and thank you for the air I breathe.
 For keeping every promise for all you are and all you do,
 I wanna thank you.
 You may think I'm ungrateful, for all the times I didn't pray.
 For every time I complain and grumble,
 when thanks is all I needed to say.
 Please forgive me for my selfish heart,
 cleanse me from a attitude of me,
 cause lord I need to tell you just how much I love you,
 so my gratitude you will see.
