Nights out are meant to be fun, and if that's what they are
 Then why am I standing drinkless at the bar
 with empty pockets and holes in my brain
 No matter what I do it ends up the same
 That's why I'm giving up and caving in
 Taking my problems and cashing them in
 cos I'm sick of working just to exist
 I'm quitting my job and I'm off to get pissed
 When you get up to go out don't wake me up
 I'm not going to work man, I just can't be fucked
 working to pay off debt that wasn't planned
 and paying for taxes that I don't understand
